This Firmware Updater runs on Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, or Windows 7 operating 
system.(This Firmware Updater might not run on Windows Vista or Windows 7 64-bit Editions)

NOTE -
Windows 2000 or Windows XP USERS - .NET Framework 2.0 (or later) must be installed to run this firmware updater.
.NET Framework can be downloaded from Microsoft download center.

To check if the .NET Framework 2.0 (or later) is installed in your Windows 2000 / XP :
- Open the Control Panel and select Add/ Remove Programs, 
- Scroll through the list of applications and look for "Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0" (or later)
- If "Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0" (or later) appears in the applications there is no need to install it.

There is no need to put the TK-7302/8302 into firmware programming mode to overwrite firmware using the 
Firmware Updater. Simply turn on the TK-7302/8302 and execute the programmer. 
It may take 1 minute to update firmware.  While writing firmware DO NOT OPERATE THE TARGET RADIO 
- DO NOT PRESS PTT
- DO NOT TURN THE KNOBS OR PRESS ANY KEYS

Operating the radio may cause fatal corruption to the firmware programming area and also the MPU boot area. 
If fatal corruption occurs, please send the radio to your closest Kenwood Authorized Repair Facility.
